Push to Hush
Our new smoke alarm has a reset button on it that says "Push to Hush" and it will quiet the alarm for 8 minutes. I wonder if my children have a "Push to Hush" button somewhere?
Sleepy
Well, we're back to little sleep again. sigh. For the last 2-3 weeks Maddox has been staying up until 10:30 or later each night and getting up between 6 and 7. Mason falls asleep in our bed and stays there until Maddox falls asleep. I've been staying up until midnight just to get some time alone. It's frustrating, and I am soooo tired again. ugh. This has to end sometime right? Maddox has a cold right now, so that's been getting in the way of his sleep.
I really wish I knew what to do with our little Maddox and sleep. He's so cranky when he doesn't get enough sleep and he isn't napping all that well either. I am at a loss with this little guy. I feel as if I have aged at least 10 years in the last 2 years. We will probably have to turn my walk in closet (they called it a bedroom) back into a bedroom for Maddox. Although I have no idea what I will do with my clothes....I am incredibly frustrated with all of it and so exhausted. I long to wake up feeling somewhat refreshed and not be dragging all day long.
We are having our bathroom gutted and remodeled courtesy of the M.L. Haugen Co. Inc.! I have been documenting each day with pictures, just need to get them on here. It's very exciting and it's going to be BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait! I think it will be 2-3 more weeks. They are going to start sheetrocking on Monday. I don't think I will ever come out of the bathroom once it is done. It's been fun having my dad and brother here everyday too. Maddox LOVES having his Pop here all the time. Plus my dad is helping fix some other little things around the house that need to be fixed..an added bonus!
Overall, things are going well. We've been out of the house a lot with the remodel and I've been tire, so I haven't done much online. Hopefully I'll get the pictures of the remodel up soon. It's pretty amazing what they have done in a week.
